Bubble tea…pearls

Confession🤫 it’s the pearls in the bubble tea that I’m drawn to. The chewy, gnawing of the tapioca pearls 珠珠. They call these chewy spring-y toppings “QQ” in Taiwan. Some brands give a small price adjustment if you bring your own tumbler. It’s also environmental friendly.

According to various sources, a typical 500ml milk tea with tapioca pearls consists of 325 calories. A healthy snack has 150 to 300 calories. So opt for no or less sugar!

Which is your favorite bubble tea?

Coming posts … more bubble tea tasting 😊, homemade tapioca pearls recipes 珠珠 and the search for the best washable bubble tea straw. If anyone has recommendations, drop me a message!

Pusheen: How to Tell if Your Cat is a Vampurr

With Halloween just round the corner, I couldn’t resist posting such a cute video. For all cat lovers!

I volunteer at an ngo cat shelter. Sometimes the cats and kittens brought in are abused, ill or injured. Despite all of these, most of them become friendly, loving and playful (especially the kittens!) in no time. It’s tremendously rewarding to see them heal, eat, meow, purr, and finally be adopted. Their new humans often share their post adoption photos and this makes us happy 😊 that they’ve found good homes.
